Nicholas Kevin Nick Bateman (Stanley Yunge-Bateman) is a Canadian actor, model, and social media star. He began his career as a Karate instructor before moving on to star in films and television shows such as Hobo with a Shotgun. He has modeled for various companies. Rogue Management in Los Angeles has signed Bateman, who has a massive social media following of approximately six million on Twitter.

Childhood and Education

Nick Bateman was born in Ontario, Canada on November 18, 1986. He fell in love with martial arts at a young age, prompting him to pursue training in Goju-Ryu karate and bo staff. He mastered the art at a rapid pace and competed in a number of international and local events. During his adolescence, he competed and won four world titles in the under 15 and 17 National Blackbelt League. Bateman went on to attend Capilano University in Vancouver, where he graduated at the age of 20.

Career

Nick Bateman founded his Karate training school after graduating from university. Later, he dabbled in acting and modeling, traveling to Milan, New York, and Miami on a regular basis for work. He has modeled for well-known labels such as Calvin Klein, Dsquared, Fila, Abercrombie & Fitch, and Jockey. In 2011, he made his acting debut in Ethos, playing Nick. That same year, he played Ivan in the film Hobo with a Shotgun. He has also appeared in films such as The Hazing Secret (2014), Tapped Out (2014), Airplane Mode (2016), and Apple of My Eye, which will be released in 2017.

Nick Bateman will also appear as Miles Archer in the 2018 film Ugly Love. The film is based on Colleen Hoover's 2014 novel Ugly Love. He has also appeared in television shows such as Space Janitors (2012), My Babysitter's a Vampire (2012), Mr. D (2013), and The Listener (2013).

 

Personal Life & Family

 

In 2008, Nick Bateman dated Maria Corrigan, and the couple wed in July 2019. In September 2018, they welcomed a son named Chase.
